The Attika State - Buddy Holly (Surf Wax America #3 - 15th September 2010)
HUGE thanks to all who attended Surf Wax America #3 last night with The Attika State. The band were perfect and so were you. Anyone else notice Darwin Deez rocking out to some emo hits at the end of the night? I guess we’re cool now. There are a couple of videos on their way and we’ll be announcing #4 very soon. Stay tuned!
The Muscle Club - Cute Without The E (Surf Wax America #2 - 18th August 2010)
The Muscle Club - The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows (Surf Wax America #2 - 18th August 2010)
Grown Ups - Surf Wax America (Surf Wax America #1 - 17th May 2010)
Surf Wax America is a club night ran by Big Scary Monsters & The 405. It runs on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at Old Blue Last in London.
The night came about because we were both sick of pretentious club nights that lacked fun. Our club is all about letting your hair down, enjoying the music (not matter how cheesy) and having a lot of fun.
Each night has a different theme and includes a band doing a set of covers/original songs.
